About Me

Hi, I’m Walt Morgan. I am a passionate leadership professional, helping teams reach their full potential for the past 12 years. As a retired Navy Commander and helicopter pilot, I learned a lot about teams during five combat-zone deployments over 23-years of military service. After flying helicopters, I became a leadership professor, and then a corporate-in-house leadership facilitator which led me to my calling as a Leadership Coach, where I serve in a new way – helping executives and teams overcome their challenges and reach their goals.

I live in Boulder, Colorado with my wife, our two teenage children and our dog Hank.  When I’m not coaching, I love to explore the backcountry with a bamboo fly fishing rod in pursuit of native trout.  I also enjoy skiing, hiking and mountain biking.  My time in nature allows me to show up for my clients with a wholeness of spirit and fresh energy.

  • I served healthcare providers nationally by developing and providing powerful, tailored leadership programing and helping teams identify and transcend barriers to their success.

  • Facilitated 75 leadership programs to over 12,000 participants.

• Naval Officer and Pilot at U.S. Navy 1993 - 2016

  • A tactical and strategic leader in operations, administration, maintenance, intelligence and training. 

  • Flew over 3000 hours, supporting military operations and training. Led successful teams up to 250 members.  Highly sought after intelligence briefer at NATO Headquarters.  Named the Navy and Marine Corps “Helicopter Instructor Pilot of the Year.”
